The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII at State Farm Stadium in a game that swung on explosive offense and a controversial late sequence. Philadelphia stayed in it behind Jalen Hurts' huge night, but his first-half fumble was returned for a touchdown and Kansas City controlled the second half after a long halftime adjustment period. The Chiefs took the lead for good after a late defensive holding call on James Bradberry kept their final drive alive, and Harrison Butker's field goal with eight seconds left completed the comeback. Patrick Mahomes earned MVP honors while playing through an ankle injury.
