The New England Patriots beat the Philadelphia Eagles 24-21 in Super Bowl XXXIX at Alltel Stadium, giving Bill Belichick and Tom Brady their third title in four years. Deion Branch earned MVP honors after catching 11 passes, Corey Dillon gave New England balance on the ground, and the Patriots made enough late stops to hold off Donovan McNabb and Terrell Owens. Philadelphia had chances in the fourth quarter, but the Patriots again looked most comfortable in the biggest moments.
