The Baltimore Ravens beat the New York Giants 34-7 in Super Bowl XXXV at Raymond James Stadium, closing one of the most dominant defensive seasons the NFL has seen. Baltimore scored first on a Trent Dilfer touchdown pass, then turned the game into chaos with a brief flurry of kickoff-return touchdowns before the Ravens' defense reasserted total control. Ray Lewis was named MVP as Baltimore held the Giants' offense to almost nothing and won the franchise's first championship.
