Game Story
The Dallas Cowboys beat the Buffalo Bills 52-17 in Super Bowl XXVII at the Rose Bowl, announcing the arrival of a new dynasty under Jimmy Johnson. Buffalo moved the ball early, but the game unraveled under an avalanche of turnovers, and Dallas repeatedly converted takeaways into points. Troy Aikman threw four touchdown passes, Michael Irvin made huge plays, and safety James Washington earned MVP honors after a fumble return touchdown in the blowout.
