Game Story
The Dallas Cowboys beat the Miami Dolphins 24-3 in Super Bowl VI at Tulane Stadium to finally break through after several near-misses and win the franchise's first championship. Roger Staubach threw for two touchdowns and earned MVP honors, the defense limited Miami to a single field goal, and Dallas never let the underdog Dolphins find a rhythm. Tom Landry's team controlled the game from the opening quarter and left no doubt about the result.
