Head CoachHank Stram

The Green Bay Packers beat the Kansas City Chiefs 35-10 in Super Bowl I at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, taking the inaugural AFL-NFL World Championship and setting the standard for Vince Lombardi's dynasty. Bart Starr threw touchdown passes to Max McGee and Boyd Dowler, Jim Taylor added a rushing score, and Green Bay broke the game open after halftime. Starr was named MVP as the Packers' depth, execution, and line play overwhelmed the AFL champions.
